Ideal experience for a family with a toddler.. This can also be booked for a group of children in a pre-school or nursery setting or a playgroup.

The session can be in the comfort of your home or venue.

The experience lasts about one hour. The family or the children in a school setting learn story massage strokes to do on the back (or tummy or shoulders or head) and we incorporate rhymes, music or stories. This is usually done over clothes, so no oil needed and it is a lovely way to have down time as a family benefiting from nurturing touch. During the session we talk about the benefits and ideas on how to incorporate this into your day. Puppets and props are often used to engage toddlers and make it more fun. When the main carer of the child is not present (e.g. in pre-school or nursery settings, then the massage is done children to children, always with the consent of the child, the child can just watch if he/she doesn’t want to take part).

To gain more confidence using story massage in your daily routine, 3 or more sessions are recommended. Price is per session so specify the number of sessions at checkout.

There is no extra cost for the amount of adults in the family or setting or number of children, the session is tailored to the age of the child(ren).

Laminated handouts are included (one per family or one per nursery setting).
